Ali Abedi

Biography

I joined the MVSI Lab in February 2026 to pursue my PhD in Civil Engineering. My research focuses on the intelligent construction of modular structures, integrating deep learning, computer vision, robotics, and structural finite element analysis to advance automated construction while ensuring structural stability, safety, and resilience.

Prior to joining MVSI, I earned my master’s degree from the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), where my research focused on signal processing and structural health monitoring. In addition to my research experience, I performed structural load calculations, prepared detailed engineering design reports, and participated in on-site supervision.
