Xiao Pan is an Assistant Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). His research falls in smart and resilient structural, earthquake, and construction engineering, with an emphasis on structural damage detection and health monitoring, vision-language model-driven semantic reasoning of engineering drawings, innovative modular structures under seismic and wind loads, and construction robotics and monitoring methods.
