The MVSI lab is based in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The group welcomes motivated researchers who want to work at the intersection of civil infrastructure, AI, computer vision, point clouds, multimodal reasoning, sensor fusion, sensing, and robotics.

Graduate students

PhD/MPhil scholarships and studentships

HKUST provides admission scholarships and financial support for research postgraduate students. The Postgraduate Studentship (PGS) is listed as HK$229,620 per year, normally up to 2 years for full-time MPhil students and up to 4 years for full-time PhD students.

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) provides an annual stipend of HK$344,400 (approximately US$44,150) and an annual conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$14,400 (approximately US$1,840) for each awardee for a period of up to three years. At HKUST, HKPFS awardees also receive a waiver of tuition fees for four years.
