Research Assistant, 2025–present, HKUST
Biography
I joined the MVSI lab as a summer Research Assistant in March 2025. My research focuses on the application of computer vision and machine learning methods in civil engineering contexts, including vision-based displacement tracking of engineering components and fine-tuned models for bridge engineering drawing interpretation. I am also interested in embodied AI and its potential applications in engineering automation.
I received my BEng in Civil Engineering from Central South University in Changsha, China. I will pursue the M.S. program in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on Structural Engineering, Mechanics, and Materials (SEMM).
